WIVI Vision, finalist at the Emprendedor XXI Awards

Its official! WIVI Vision is one of the two finalists in the Health category of the Emprendedor XXI prize awarded by CaixaBank.

This is a new recognition to the groundbreaking social task of WIVI, a disruptive startup that has accumulated dozens of awards and recognitions in the past three years.

Despite of the exceptional situation caused by the COVID-19 emergency, CaixaBank and Enisa are continuing their efforts at promoting, supporting and recognizing the work of entrepreneurs of Spain and Portugal through the Emprendedor XXI awards. These awards recognize those firms with most innovation and growth potential in the Agrofood, Impact, Health, Senior, Mobility and Proptech sectors. The jury, formed by more than 80 representatives of the main venture capital funds, corporations and experts from the technological ecosystem, came together virtually to make the decision and, after reviewing 993 Spanish and Portuguese firms, choosing three in each category.

On this occasion, the award ceremony took place digitally, and Wivi was finalist in the Health category. The prizes were awarded on May 27 during the DayOne Innovation Summit Live, an online meeting to boost innovation and entrepreneurship. The online award ceremony featured, among other speakers, Reyes Maroto, minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, and Ana Díez Fontana, executive director of business and entrepreneurs at CaixaBank.
