Planta 12 interviewed the co-founders of WIVI Vision about the company’s plans for the coming years. Apart from the consolidation in Spain, the objective is to advance in the international strategy and increase the portfolio of complementary services focused on vision care.
As the report says: “The company has achieved tremendous growth and expansion in recent years. WIVI has even started the ‘Techshare by Euronext’ training programme to go public in the next few years.”
New services: a platform similar to Netflix focused on vision
“We focus on the detection and treatment of eye disorders and, over the last year, many symptoms have appeared due to the pandemic,” says Juan Carlos Ondategui, co-founder of WIVI Vision, in the article. That is why it is important to take constant care of our vision and to choose therapies in accordance with our visual needs.
WIVI relies on Artificial Intelligence to evaluate the vision and propose a personalized training to the patient. In addition, it is able to reduce the duration of the treatment session (from 1 hour to 15 minutes) and the total treatment (from 6 months to 3 months).
“We have also included new services, a platform similar to Netflix focused on vision. A complementary service that has been highly valued by opticians and hospitals, and we plan to expand these new additional services,” says Eva García Ramos, our CEO and co-founder.
