WIVI Vision is one of the 5 winners of the UNICEF Lab Awards

Our innovative solution WIVI Vision has been among the five finalists of the UNICEF Lab award, all of them winners. UNICEF Lab is UNICEF Spain’s social accelerator with a focus on children’s rights developed by ISDI Accelerator.

This award allows us to be part of a customized acceleration program that will generate joint development opportunities, proof of concept, drive solution scalability and give visibility to the problems we solve with WIVI.

In addition, the program will help us to expand the benefits of our solution to children and teenagers worldwide with the aim of making a positive impact on their development and improving their quality of life through the care and training of visual health, providing the latest technology.

Improving quality of life through visual health care

WIVI Vision offers innovative solutions to improve visual efficiency and treat visual dysfunctions, both in assessment and subsequent recovery.

In this sense, helping to improve children’s health through a massive visual assessment was one of the reasons for the jury to promote WIVI Vision for the proposed challenge.

According to Eva García Ramos, CEO and co-founder of WIVI Vision: “With the collaboration of UNICEF Spain and ISDI Accelerator we can inform society about a problem that affects a large percentage of the population (both children and adults), and we can also provide a solution to solve it. A solution that focuses on carrying out a visual screening of the entire population to detect and solve visual dysfunctions.”

Eva also highlights how the acceleration program gives us the opportunity to provide the opportunity for more and more people around the world to benefit from improving their visual health and quality of life, where children are one of our most important audiences because of the impact that good visual health has on childhood and their personal development.
