At WIVI Vision, we believe that training visual skills is key to achieving top performance. That’s why we launched a unique initiative alongside Campus Calderón, led by former NBA player José Manuel Calderón.
Beyond strength or technique, there’s something that truly makes the difference on the court: vision.
Our goal: to bring WIVI’s technology to grassroots sports and help young talents discover their full visual potential — in a way that’s both fun and effective.
Over 200 children enjoyed the WIVI Vision experience at Campus Calderón
Our first stop was at the Campus Drafteados in Madrid, where over 100 children experienced something new: assesing their visual abilities through immersive, personalized 3D video games.
Between laughter, curiosity, and excitement, participants discovered how aspects like coordination, focus, and reaction can be trained to improve their performance on the court.
The second stop took us to the Campus Calderón in Badajoz, with the same mission: to help kids see better, play better, and grow with more efficient vision.
In total, we had the incredible opportunity to assess the visual efficiency of more than 200 children.
José Manuel Calderón’s visual assessment
One of the most memorable moments came in Madrid, when José Manuel Calderón decided to experience WIVI firsthand.
We performed a visual assessment for him and shared the excitement of seeing how technology can play such an important role in sports.
His involvement and support for this initiative reinforce a message we fully share: training vision is also part of an athlete’s development.
