This clinical study in collaboration with Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa (CST) has a clear goal: to continue advancing in the early detection and improvement of children’s visual health.
The project focuses on a key aspect that often goes unnoticed: visual efficiency in children and its impact on their daily lives.
Assessing visual efficiency for early detection
The study focuses on assessing the visual efficiency of children aged 7 to 14, with the aim of identifying visual dysfunctions that often go undetected.
Early detection of these issues is essential, as they can directly affect school performance, reading ability and overall well-being. In many cases, these difficulties are not identified in standard eye exams, which makes it even more important to have specific assessing tools.
Through this study, we aim to gather objective data to better understand how these visual dysfunctions impact children and how they can be effectively addressed.
A collaborative approach to improving children’s visual health
This project brings together the expertise of the pediatric team at Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa with WIVI’s clinical experience and technology, moving one step further towards a more comprehensive, objective and accessible approach to children’s visual health.
Thanks to the commitment of both teams, this study represents an opportunity to continue integrating innovative tools into real clinical environments, with a direct impact on patients’ lives.
At WIVI, we would like to thank the team at Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa for their dedication and collaboration in driving this project with real social impact.
We will continue to share updates and insights as the study progresses.
